How will my membership work?
Your membership automatically renews each renewal period depending on the plan you select, and we typically ship by the 24th of each month. There are no hidden fees and you can cancel anytime. Just be sure to cancel by the first of the month or your membership will automatically renew.
What membership plans are available to me?
We offer three different plans: 1 MONTH, 6 MONTH, and 12 MONTH. See plans here.
As a 1 MONTH plan member, you will will prepay $32.95* (plus shipping) each month. Your membership will automatically renew unless you skip or cancel on or before your next renewal date. And you’re welcome to upgrade to a 6-month or 12-month membership at any time directly in your account.
As a 6 MONTH plan member, you will prepay $187.50* every six months. That’s a $29.94 savings over the 1-month plan! Your membership will automatically renew unless you cancel before the end of your 6-month term. And you’re welcome to upgrade to a 12-month membership at any time directly in your account.
As a 12 MONTH plan member, you will prepay $359.88* every twelve months. That’s a $59.99 savings over the 1-month plan. It’s like getting two boxes for free! Your membership will automatically renew unless you cancel before the end of your 12-month term.
*All prices are listed in USD. Sales Tax will be charged for orders shipped to certain states. Foreign exchange or transaction fees may apply for non-US customers.
When will my gear kit ship?
Your first gear kit will ship Friday. If you sign up before 11:59pm PDT/PST on Thursday, your gear kit will ship that Friday.
Your future gear kits ship by the 24th of each month.

Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, you're in full control! You can cancel or reactivate in your customer account without emailing or calling us. If you cancel, the auto-renewal at the end of your current term will be canceled.
What if I need to change my address?
No problem! If you would like to change your address, you must do so before the 14th day of the month.
To update your address:
1. Login to your account
2. Click the yellow UPDATE button under Manage Subscriptions
3. Click the yellow ADD AN ADDRESS button under Shipping Address
4. Enter your new address and click the check box next to Default Address
5. Click the green SAVE button
If you change your address after the 14th of the month, your gear kit will ship to the address we had on file at the time and you will not be eligible for a refund. Your address change will be effective the following shipping cycle.
Can I sign up to be a member if I live outside the USA or in a hard to reach area?
Yes! As soon as your box ships you will receive a tracking email. Shipments outside of the USA may take 7 - 10 business days to arrive from the day you receive your tracking email.
International shipments are not eligible for free postage, are not included in shipping related offers/promos, and may be subject to customs fees depending on your local regulations.

When will I be charged?
When you sign up, you will be charged for the plan you have selected (1 MONTH, 6 MONTH, or 12 MONTH). If you sign up between the 1st and the 15th, your subscription will automatically renew on the 1st of your renewal month. If you sign up between the 16th and the last day of the month, your subscription will automatically renew on the 15th of your renewal month.
*If you signed up prior to June 14th, 2021, you will continue to be charged on the 4th of each month.
Will I be charged sales tax?
Sales Tax will be charged for orders shipped to the following states:
Alaska, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, and Wyoming.
Tell me more about the Welcome Box?
The Welcome Box is only available for new members who joined on or after June 14th, 2020. If you were a member prior to June 13th, 2020, who canceled and re-activated your subscription, then you are not eligible. New members mean a new subscription. If you purchased one subscription prior to June 13th, 2020, and purchase an additional subscription after June 14th,2020, your second subscription is eligible for a Welcome Box.
The items in the Welcome Box will change periodically.
What will be inside my monthly gear kits?
We can’t tell you exactly what's inside the box, that would ruin the surprise! But we can tell you that we focus on new, unique, and multi-functional items from top selling and up-and-coming brands. Items may include gear, tools, accessories, and occasionally food or drink pulled together in an adventure-ready theme. Our adventure experts curate themes based on seasons and activities. Some of our past themes include North Bound, Quick Trip Essentials, Don’t Wait to Hydrate, Summer Readiness, On the Water, Fix It, and more. And each kit comes with helpful tips and a Nomadik Challenge, where you have the opportunity to win more awesome gear.
Will my gear kit be the same as everyone else?
No, gear and kit themes are based on a variety of factors, such as: seasonality, available inventory from our brand partners, interests, etc. But rest assured, the value, quality, and quantity of the items in all variations of our kits are comparable each month.
Can I return or exchange my gear kit or an item from my kit?
Yes, you may return your gear kit for a full refund as long as everything in the kit is in original, unused condition. You must notify us within 14 days from your delivery date and provide the reason for your return. However, returns and refunds are at our sole discretion. We do not provide shipping for returns and the postage we incur from any items returned via return to sender will be deducted from your refund. Individual items in the kit are not eligible for return or exchange.
Can I return or exchange an item I bought from the shop?
No. All shop sales (non-subscription orders) are final. No returns will be accepted. If you have a question or concern, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
What if something is missing or damaged during shipping?
If your gear kit or shop order contains any missing, incorrect, damaged or defective items, you must notify us within 14 days from your delivery date at email@example.com.
